Q. Can I perform my own piece?
A. No. Moving forward only trademarked Punany Brand material will be used in Punany Shows.
Q. If I am in a show does that mean that I am A Punany Poet?
A. No. There is no such thing as A Punany Poet. The Punany Poets Entertainment, LLC in a limited Liability Corporation, not a performance group.
Q. Will I get paid?
A. Union Actors receive union pay. Non-Union actors receive a stipend allotted by AFACTA.ORG our non-profit sponsor. Internships are unpaid.
Q. How old do I have to be?
A. 18.
Q. Can I get college credits for participation?
A. Yes.
Author, Jessica Holter's political satire is bold and often brazen; "Question 22", a skit about welfare and vaginal itching is no exception. Holter's Kenita James character will come to life again on stage as part of The Punany Poets Black Love American Style show and the ghetto girl will take center stage in 2013 in a full stage play The Gospel According to Kenita James.
